Hello, I'm snide09, though I'm guessing you may already know that since it says so on my profile, just thought i'd get formalities out of the way. I was recently suggested by my friend thagirion to try this place out and well time will tell if I fancy this site.

As far as interests go I'll keep it very simple. My primary interest is herpetology, which is the study of reptiles and amphibians for those who don't know. My favorite reptiles consists of crododilians, particularly the nile croc, the saltwater croc, and the american alligator. Reasoning is because they are very advanced creatures for the time in which they've existed and that was since the dawn of the dinosaurs, and have changed very little ever since. Freshwater turtles are my second favorite sue to just how active they are and how much personality they have, with snakes and lizards of all kinds fighting for third place. I haven't quite graduated college yet but I'm getting there and then I hope to get in the field of zoology with my degree. I also enjoy various forms of entertainment, such as film, theatre, drawing, video games, the list goes on. I also enjoy a good book here and there, particularly nature books though the odd fictional book is occasionally read. I'm generally not fussy about genre, though my preferences are action, sci-fy, horror, and sometimes comedy, but romance stories are out of the question outside of a select few.

If you wish to comment by all means feel free to do so, I enjoy conversation, especially when we are on the same page. That being said, I am not quick to trust new faces, trust is something that is earned, not bought through flattery or anything of the sort, I've had such things happen to me in the past and, let me tell you, they never went well. If over time I have gotten to know you and decide I can trust you, we will be in good standing. However, if you wish to start an argument or decide to leave negative comments, you will be met with harsh words and brutal honesty which those of you with sensitive emotions may not be prepared to deal with. In short, don't be a jerk to me or my friends and I won't be a jerk to you, no one likes to put up with riff raff.
